It descended from the heavens, and all that it gazed upon died the final and ultimate death. I do not know what it was, I only know that nothing could stand before it. Demons fell, and also Angels. I felt immense sorrow when I beheld the light, but also relief.
It had no anger in it for humanity, only vast weariness.
The Demons were pushed back, and the Angels were not allowed to interfere.
I had lost so much blood by this point that it was all a dream haze of pain and exhaustion, but I saw it follow the Demons back through the rifts they had poured from.
Perhaps it was our God come back to save us one last time.
