I believe I came very close to death, but my captors are not evil, simply unbending. I came too near their most guarded sanctum, and was removed forcibly. The priests I now study under say they work directly for the Angels, and I am inclined to believe them.

I do not doubt that there may have been an incredibly powerful figure in our past that reshaped the world... but was she a God? The God? I have never been convinced.

But perhaps I am taking things too literally. Was she a conduit for something greater... I must read between the lines of this story.

I am appreciating some calm and meditative time to think, but if need be I will use the tools I have at my disposal, violence being chief among them.
