Pacifism is the ultimate luxury.

The ability to totally abstain from violence in any form... how is this possible unless any who could do you violence are done away with?

Or perhaps some believe that they would simply not react as violence is done unto them. They would look on calmly as the curved blade is plunged down. Perhaps.

But would those same people look on calmly as the blade is turned towards those they love? Those that need protection?

And if they can do that, have they reneged on what makes a life worth living? To look on blindly as the wheels of slaughter grind all?

So in turn, the gentle hand picks up the sword, and becomes monstrous.
