All Demons understand that the buildings and world they live on is grown from the bodies of the Demon Masters, and it is where they store their excess energy.

If one of the Demonic Masters dies, an INCREDIBLY hard thing to achieve, then all of the stored energy in the flesh begins to decay.

Most believe a fatal blow to the head of a Demon Master will kill them, but at worst it will only incapacitate them until the energy can be drawn back and the body part regrown. Demonic Masters should not truly be capable of death if they have any way to draw upon their energy reserves.

And yet the Head Master did die, recently. That area of the Demonic Planes is now a vast area of stinking and unhabitable muck, slowly being cleaned away. 

How did this happen? Some theorize that since the Head Master was on the Surface, he was not able to draw upon the stored reserves of energy. This does not seem right, as the energy is all connected, and distance should not matter.

It is my opinion that the killing blow, struck by the Snow Queen, was able to destroy the main body so utterly there was no way for the excess energy to repair it.

This must be studied further.
