Every day I feel blind, but even without the demonic shard I think I begin to see how things connect.

Magica, Demonic Energy, and the Energy of the Infinity Brain are all connected. There is a "pure" source, and the Infinity Brain is the closest to it.

The closer you get to that source, the less "contaminated" the energy is by... feelings? Thoughts? A will?

I do believe that some kind of Godlike being shaped our world, or at least effected it. Could this be a semblance of their lingering mind? Magica especially seems to want to... help? 

On a fundamental level it is reinforcing and working with humans. Demonic Energy seems to have been twisted away from that directive, but is suffused with the mentality of the Demons. Even working with it you can feel a hunger, an insatiability to it.

The Energy of the Infinity Brain is more chaotic, but only because it no longer has those guiding forces inside. It truly seems capable of anything, if the mind behind it is strong enough.

But beyond it... there is something there. As if we were collecting drops of water from a leaking faucet, not yet aware that we could turn it on.
