For all the power of Magica to destroy, it is surprisingly inept at its ability to heal. The quest for "health potions" and "healing magic" has been avidly pursued by both Doctors and Mages, but the best they can come up with is the mild enhancement of the bodies own ability to repair itself.

This in turn comes with a need for increased calories and rest. And perhaps, at most, we reduce a week of healing to five or six days. 

All the old stories of Magica involve not just destruction, but also creation! I am sure that it can be harnessed to that end, if only I had better control and knowledge.

Maybe, with his help, I can harness that ability to help my new young student.

Otherwise... ah well. Such is life. And death.
