After a tense moment we have decided to let the demon Jahi reclaim her "property". Gerda's body will be more stable without the additional demonic mass, and everyone is simply too exhausted and wounded to fight any further.

As usual, demons are unempathetic, ruthless, and cruel.

Still, in spite of that, these three were extraordinarily helpful in this ONE specific instance. And we do... owe them... something for that.

Even Cynthia has been willing to overlook what they did. All the many many things that they did. 

She says that she feels much calmer now, and wants to move forward.

I think I can as well.
