Out of all the types of Adventurers, those that hunt Demons are the most unstable. There is little treasure, aside from Demonic weapons and armor, that you can collect. The danger is as high, or higher, than any place in the Interior. And if you kill a few demons, what of it? There are always more, held at bay by only the Angels know what.
And yet, those Adventurers are the most noble. Perhaps if every human who could pick up a sword was willing to put their life on the line then there would be no more fear of Incursions.
To choke the beast by throwing yourself into the maw... that is madness, but that is also true Heroism.
Still, this book does advise against it.
