The demonic planes are calm. Sloth has crept into every corner, and with it, contentment. The Orchard provides great quantities of "food" and demands very little in return. The seven masters are in relative equilibrium, with the obvious exception of the Head Master being above the rest.

Still, there are machinations occurring that elude me. I wonder if a new level of secrecy has been achieved, pacts within pacts, favors within favors.

A tool that was sent to the surface was destroyed, but I do not why it was sent, or why it was destroyed. The carriers sent with it were harmed enough to be brought back into the Head Masters care. It is unlike him to be so... wasteful.

But we know he has lost valuable projects in the past. Whatever "Cynthia" was, it cost him greatly. He is capable of failure.
