TODAY I WITNESSED A BATTLE BETWEEN VAST LEVIATHANS. ONE WAS EYELESS AND LONGER THAN A WALLED CITY, THE OTHERS TEEMED INNUMERABLE, EACH BIGGER THAN MY SHIP. THEY SWARMED THE EYELESS ONE, GOUGING AND DEVOURING, LIKE CRABS UPON A BEACHED BEAST. BUT THE EYELESS ONE WAS NOT BEACHED, AND WAS NOT HELPLESS! IT ROARED AND IRIDESCENT LIGHT SWEPT FORM ITS MAW, AND ALL THAT IT TOUCHED UPON TURNED TO ASH AND SMOKE. THE SEAS BOILED AND MY SHIP WAS ROCKED THOUGH I SPYED UPON THEM THROUGH A MAGICED EYEGLASS.
FINALLY THE SMALLER ONES FLED, AND THE EYELESS BEASTIE SUBMERGED INTO THE ROILING SEA.
GOD I LOVE MY LIFE.
