We have slowly been restoring past methods of automating many elements of our lives, to the applause of most. However there has been a growing sense of discontentment among those that feel ousted from positions they would have liked to remain in. Thanks to construct automation we can even automate complex and multi-step tasks.

Food and shelter exist in abundance, so nobody is at risk of starving or being left out in the elements, but perhaps there is a greater need beyond base sustenance.

Still, the rate of expansion into the Interior Fringe is massively sped up by not needing to rely on individual skilled laborers and adventurers. 

For the good of the many, a few may need to fall by the wayside.
