Sadly there is a decline in adventuring Heroes. As dangerous beings are pushed back towards the center, there are less and less "starting areas" for a new Hero to test themselves and find useful items. The difficulty curve is very very steep, and unless you can find an experienced Hero to help you grind through some life or death experiences, it is not uncommon for a naive beginner to meet a fast and untimely end when venturing into the interior.

That being said, for the Heroes that do manage to get some good gear and experience, the quality of Treasures in the interior is said to still be quite high. After The Fall the fighting in the Center was very intense and any artifacts or relics that remain are potent.

Try not to let greed blind you, and move carefully, and it is still very possible to achieve glory and greatness as an Adventurer!
