I often wonder what would happen if the "mother" was killed. I do not know if such a thing is possible, as it dates back to before The Fall, and it is said even God could not kill such beings. Perhaps the Brother could have, but he vanished long ago.

I know it is one possible path, but oddly I find my mind shying away from such a course.

Demons are what they are. And they rarely do "good". But... I have seen actions of kindness, and curiosity, and even love from them. They laugh, and eat, and play.

I feel that the world would be a little less without them. Their wit, and spirit, and even hunger.

And yet... if they ever truly let loose, would anything be left but them? All demons are capable of immense and nearly infinite growth, only restrained by their own internal power struggles.

The "mother"... not the solution I wish, but perhaps A solution.
