"Historically Accurate Mundanity" continues to be something I protest against.

Our efforts to continously re-create the past has become fetishistic. I recently saw that there is an effort in multiple walled cities to dissalow armor and allow only clothing that can be verified as being worn in recovered media??

As much as we must respect our ancestors culture, it is not the world we exist in anymore! We live in one of swords, monsters, and magic! "T-shirts" and "Jeans" are simply not practical wear, even within many of the walled cities!

We cannot use the trappings of the past as a way to blind ourselves to the reality of our current world. If we continue down this path of the past, we will end up not only ruining our present, but our future as well!
