Humans are weak, and squishy, and pathetic. But that only makes their pre-magica destructive abilities all the more impressive.

How did they come up with such impressive feats? Their techniques... their swords... their... forbidden weapons. Incredible.

I have reached the pinnacle of my ability through honing that knowledge, perfecting it. 

The modern world has made humans less than what they would otherwise be. I pity them.

But the legacy of their past glory will live on, through me.
